FREE Portable Data Retrieval Software for JAMAR Equipment
JPDA is a free, PDA-based data retrieval program for JAMAR data recorders, including the TRAX line of traffic recorders and the Scanner people counters.

Once you arrive at the site, simply connect your PDA to you data recorder using either a hardwired or wireless Bluetooth connection. Then, press the 'Read' button on the PDA and the JPDA software will retrieve the data from the data recorder.

Data retrieved by JPDA can be transferred to a PC using ActiveSync and the free utility program JRead, which converts the PDA file into several different formats.

Download data from a variety of JAMAR data recorders.
JPDA allows you to quickly and easily retrieve data, while you are in the field, from the TRAX line of traffic data recorders and the Scanner people counters. There is no need to transport the data recorder back to your office for download - merely connect the PDA to the data recorder in the field and start downloading.

Store multiple files at the same time
Since JPDA can store multiple files, it is very efficient for use with multiple data recorders that are in the field. You can simply go from location to location to location, retrieving your data and then returning to the office with all of your studies.

Enter Site Code Information for inclusion with downloaded data
In addition to being able to download data, JPDA also gives you the ability to upload information to the data recorder. Using this feature, you can set a variety of values that are stored in your data file, including the site code and other location information.

Easy transfer of data to desktop computer
The free utility program JRead runs on your desktop or laptop computer and makes retrieval of data from the PDA easy. Simply autosync the PDA to the computer and in just a couple clicks data from JPDA can be processed and analyzed.
